A year like many others for most sectors, except for the automotive one, since it represents the deadline after which it will no longer be possible to sell new vehicles powered by thermal engines. A deadline which has been debated for a long time, but which has never seen the EU Commission take a step backwards, as confirmed by Frans Timmermansvice-president of the body, who reiterated his position during the debate in the European Parliament on the climate package.
