Through a statement, PlayStation announced that its next exclusive, Stellar Bladeyou will receive a day one patch. The intention of this will be to remove a word that refers to a racist term. Since it was not Shift Up's intention to include it, they decided to remove it.
The situation in question occurred in a store within Stellar Blade called the R Shop. The business's sign was next to graffiti with the word 'hard'. When read together with R, both make an unintentional reference to a racist term.
'The positioning of a pair of side-by-side graphics in the game resulted in an unintentionally objectionable word. Shift Up had no intention of creating offensive art and will replace the graffiti with a day one patch.' The PlayStation statement ensures.
