Stellar Blade is arriving in two days, with a release date set for April 26, but information on it is already available day one patchwhich among other things will bring with it the New Game Plus mode and will remove the now known racist writing by modifying a graffiti present in the game.
L'update 1.002 has been published in these hours and will be available directly at the official launch of the game, but those who received a copy in advance (like magazine editors) have noticed that the update can already be downloaded and installed, bringing with it some interesting changes.
On the gameplay front, the main addition is certainly given by the arrival of the New Game Plus mode, which is unlocked as per tradition once the game has been completed at least once, allowing you to face the story again starting from an advantaged situation.
A quick fix
There are no details yet, but traditionally the New Game Plus allows you to start the story again by taking advantage of evolutions and upgrades unlocked during the first run, in complete or partial form, thus obtaining a notable advantage compared to the initial game.
Conversely, it is possible that the enemies are more powerful and therefore the challenges level up in general, but we are waiting to see the official patch notes to have more precise details on this aspect of the game.
However, another aspect of the day one patch is confirmed, namely the removal of the offensive written note present in a part of the scenario. As demonstrated by Lance McDonald's post, reported above, the writing “Hard R”, which in American slang takes on a strong racist connotation, has been modified, with a decidedly different and no longer controversial graffiti.
