Stellar Blade was the best-selling console game in the USA in April 2024, as noted by analytics company Circana. The Fallout series was also very good and, thanks to the push of the Amazon Prime Video TV series, returned to the top 10 with two titles: Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. In general, we are faced with a month without major shocks Let’s see the top 20:
- Stellar Blade
- Helldivers 2
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III
- Sea of Thieves
- Fallout 4
- MLB: The Show 24
- Dragon’s Dogma II
- Fallout 76
- Hogwarts Legacy
- EA Sports FC 24
- Rise of the Ronin
- Grounded
- Minecraft
- Madden NFL 24
- Princess Peach: Showtime!
- Rainbow Six: Siege
- Tekken 8
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Elden Ring
- Marvel’s Spiderman 2
Also note the excellent sales of Sea of Thieves and Grounded, both former Xbox exclusives, recently also launched on PS5. Interestingly, Stellar Blade is the only new release to make the top 20.
The annual ranking
However, the best-selling game of the year remains Helldivers 2, with Stellar Blade debuting in sixteenth position. Second is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, as we can see from the top ten positions:
- Helldivers 2
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III
- Dragon’s Dogma 2
- MLB: The Show 24
- Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
- Tekken 8
- Madden NFL 24
- Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
- Hogwarts Legacy
- Persona 3 Reload
However, the most played of the month remain the live services, with Call of Duty dominating on PS5 and Fortnite on Xbox. On Steam, Helldivers 2 prevailed. As underlined, this was a fairly weak month, as can also be seen from the general data from Circana.
