Sony PlayStation and Shift Up have announced a new free update Of Stellar Blade which brings with it a new one game mode called “Boss Challenge”available with the update arriving very soon: the release date is in fact set for tomorrow, May 24, 2024.
The Boss Challenge mode, as can easily be understood from the name, is all about fighting against bosses, presenting a sort of “boss rush” in which we must defeat in sequence all the fiercest and most fearsome enemies encountered in the main story.
Boss Challenge therefore proposes 19 bosses to take down in rapid succession, with an increasing level of difficulty from the first to the last, with the possibility of making them even more difficult than the original version through the use of the “hard” level.
New costumes and more
The challenge can be faced using the equipment in the player’s possession or by selecting one of the possible presets made available just in case, thus allowing a certain choice on how to take part in this challenging boss race.
Once the battle is over, the system also provides us with an evaluation of the fights carried out, which opens the door to possible challenges in the challenges to try to obtain increasingly better results within this mode.
Among the new features there are also two new ones Nano Suit for Eve, namely the White Kunoichi and the Black Kunoichi, while others will be added later, as promised by the developers. Furthermore, further updates have been applied in terms of Quality of life and other elements, such as the addition of a compass in the HUD, as well as various fixes and improvements.
For the occasion, new images have been released for Stellar Blade, which you can see in the gallery on this page and illustrate some of the new elements that will be added by tomorrow’s update.
In the meantime, it seems that Shift Up is thinking about a PC version and possible sequel for the game, which will also feature a dedicated Limited Edition hamburger.
