Former an employee and experienced sexual harassment in the workplace Jéssica Lubrano has sued the startup Swappie.

In a lawsuit filed with the Helsinki District Court on Tuesday, he is seeking compensation for the termination of his employment and the violation of the Equality Act, which he considers illegal. Lubrano believes the termination of the employment relationship is due to the fact that he demanded that the employer intervene in the sexual harassment.

According to Lubrano, he called her for 1-2 hours, during which she explained, among other things, how “men need a lot of sex”.

Last November, Lubrano spoke to the CEO of Swappie about the harassment, and in mid-January, Lubrano was fired just before the end of the probationary period.

Other current and former employees of Swappie also reported inappropriate treatment in the case.

After the story came out Swappie announced the actionwith which it intended to remedy its harmful work culture.
