Stardew Valley continues to get support from Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone, with the upcoming arrival of a update 1.6 which demonstrates how there is still activity behind the famous simulation of agricultural life and more.
This is not really new content, however: as explained by the developer, the new update is mainly based on the support for modding toolstherefore, it is in effect an update that prepares the way for the next introduction of new content, but these will come through mods, which will be applicable with greater ease and safety.
ConcernedApe has also answered some questions from fans, explaining precisely the mid-centric nature of update 1.6 and leaving the door open even to a possible update 1.7which could mean continued support for Stardew Valley, although the developer is now busy with other projects.
Speaking of the latter, he also reported that Haunted Chocolatier, the new game in development, could contain some connections and references in Stardew Valley, even if he can’t yet say how deep these are, as he above all wants the new game to have an identity of its own.
