A Jabba the Hutt's mission in Star Wars Outlaws may require the Season Pass, according to what was reported by the Spanish site Areajugones. In fact, even the Italian description of the package on the Ubisoft Store seems to describe this content as an exclusive.
In fact, we read that the Star Wars Outlaws Season Pass will include:
- Two DLCs that will be released after launch: you can continue to explore the world of Star Wars Outlaws thanks to new stories, missions and areas to discover.
- The exclusive launch mission “Jabba's Move”.
- The Kessel Pilot Character Pack, which includes additional cosmetic content for Kay and Nix.
It remains to be understood what the mission consists of, but based on the statements released so far by Ubisoft we know that Jabba will be part of the story of Star Wars Outlaws, specifically he will be one of the bosses we will have the opportunity to work forcompleting tasks and gaining their trust… or betraying them.
It's nothing new
While awaiting clarification from the French company, our feeling is that Jabba's exclusive mission follows what has already been done several times in the past by Ubisoft, which tends to reward users who purchase the Season Pass and/or limited editions with exclusive content.
However, this approach does not influence the experience of those who simply buy the standard edition, in the sense that extra missions are optional and do not play a central role to the events of the campaign.
