Star Wars: Hunters, a free to play game for Switch and mobile devices, has been postponed. There new release date is now 2023: previously it was set for the current year. The team also shared a message explaining the postponement of the game.
Via Twitter, the team wrote: “We are working tirelessly to achieve the quality we set for Star Wars Hunters. Our ambition is to create a competitive battle arena game that will entertain players for years to come. To ensure we reach our highs. expectations and those of fans around the world, we have made the decision to postpone the worldwide launch of Star Wars Hunters. ”

Star Wars: Hunters is developed by Zynga and Lucasfilm Games. The game is set after the fall of the Empire, which is after Return of the Jedi. The players struggle in an arena, in teamstaking advantage of a whole host of Star Wars characters, such as Rieve, Aran Tal the Mandalorian and Grozz the Wookiee.
