The Attorney General’s Office of Nuevo León announced that traces of the staphylococcus aureus bacteria in the food of children who died on May 10 in the municipality of Escobedo, Nuevo León.
According to the information sheet, the presence of the Staphylococcus Aureus bacteria in food from a restaurant Chinese Food that was found in the house, in the chicken that they consumed that day, as well as in the vomit found on the clothing of one of the minors, according to the bacterial analysis.
Furthermore, the bacteria of salmonella in the food analyzed.
Therefore, they consider that the presence of both bacteria caused diarrhea and vomiting in the little brothers, leading to severe dehydration and subsequent multi-organ failure that caused their death.
As will be remembered, the little brothers David “N”, 3 years old, and Vanessa “N”, 5 years old, died of suspected poisoning after eating chicken that their father ordered at home through an application to celebrate Mother’s Day with the family, in a home located at the intersection of San Carlos and Acueducto streets, in the San Genaro neighborhood, in the municipality of Escobedo.
Later, the mother went to work and the children and their father stayed at home. Apparently at night was when they apparently began to feel severe discomfort.
When she returned the next morning, the woman found her two small children unconscious, so she immediately called the emergency services. However, paramedics who went to the scene and checked the children found that they no longer had vital signs. Meanwhile, the father of the family, still alive, was transferred to a hospital for medical attention since he also had severe discomfort.
In advances of investigation previously made known by the authorities, it was revealed that in addition to the chickenin the house a plate of Chinese food which was also investigated, with the results already described.
