During the last episode of Saturday Night Live a parody song of Squid Game, the famous Netflix series, during which the guest of the evening, actor Rami Malek, also performed. For those unfamiliar with it, the program, often abbreviated as SNL, is one of the most famous and longest-running in the history of television and is characterized by short comic sketches.
After the almost comic transposition of the famous series, Squid Game now becomes a song, starring comedian Pete Davidson, singer Big Wet and Academy Award winner Rami Malek. The three, in the video available on the cover of the news, sing about their tragic financial situation, which leads them to participate in the famous games in order to pay off their debts.
Note the fact that the whole song sums up the whole series almost perfectly, making spoilers for anyone who has not yet seen all the episodes, especially for some twists or events. The scenarios were made by partly recreating the original ones of the Netflix show and partly using some real scenes, in which the actors were digitally inserted.
The result is incredibly plausible and comical, especially for the various jokes regarding the money conversion, as the series is set entirely in Korea, with a currency other than the US dollar. It is not the first time that the American program makes sketches about contemporary series or events, inserting the comic component.

The episodes, which are broadcast every Saturday night on the American channel NBC, they saw as guests many actors but also politicians, like Barack Obama himself even before he became president. The main feature is the lack of a fixed conductor, who is interpreted from week to week by the prominent guest, who participates in many sketches.
After the rumors regarding a possible second season, this can easily be interpreted as an American version of the series, in a very comical and irreverent way.
