With the occasion of the release of the Splatoon 3 demo, some unethical users have tried to exploit the flaws in the game to take advantage of them. But Nintendo wasn’t watching.
According to OatmealDome, a hacker at the center of the development of the Dolphin emulator, the Japanese company will have activated a system to contrast the cheats on Splatoon 3, which allows you to recognize the installation of unauthorized patches in the game demo.
The method, according to the hacker, allows Nintendo to permanently ban players, even preventing them from accessing Nintendo’s online services. One of these “unauthorized patches” would even have allowed cheaters early access to the demo before its official release.
Waiting for the release of the title scheduled for September 9th, you can enjoy our preview here.
