Improvement of amounts and access to more groups
These are the first figures that reflect the full entry into force of the subsidy reform, a welfare benefit that is received in the case of having exhausted the unemployment contribution, not having contributed enough to access it or having more than 52 years, among other assumptions.
Since November 1, the amount of this subsidy is higher and amounts to 95% of the Iprem (about 570 euros per month) during the first six months, to go from the seventh month and during the following six months to 90% of the Iprem (540 euros).
The reform also facilitated access to the subsidy for those under 45 years of age without family responsibilities, to temporary agricultural workers, to cross-border workers from Ceuta and Melilla, and to those who prove contribution periods of less than 6 months and lack family responsibilities, among other changes.
