In this chapter of ‘A Tour of France’ we travel to Marseille to talk about culture. The port city in the south of France is the second largest in the country and is considered a melting pot of art and civilizations. The cultural sector represents 670,000 direct jobs in France and contributes millions of euros to the country’s economy, however, there is uncertainty among citizens about what will happen to this industry after two years of the crisis caused by Covid-19.
