SpaceX: fourth flight test of Starship system will take place on June 5
The fourth flight test of the Starship reusable transport system will take place on June 5. SpaceX has decided on the corresponding date. About it reports SpaceNews publication.
The company hopes to receive permission from the US Federal Aviation Administration to launch a reusable two-stage system by June 5. During the fourth flight test, SpaceX plans to retain both the Super Heavy rocket and the Starship vehicle.
Earlier, the general manager of SpaceX’s Starbase cosmodrome, Katie Lueders, said that the fourth flight tests of the Starship reusable transport system will take place in late May – early June.
The Starship system made its third test flight in March. The second flight test of Starship took place in November 2023. The first was in April last year.
