President of South Korea: the country is ready to cooperate with the Russian Federation on certain issues
South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol announced Seoul’s readiness to cooperate with Russia on certain issues. He is quoted TASS.
He noted that the country will maintain relations with Moscow, cooperating on individual issues, objecting and remaining vigilant where necessary. According to him, cooperation will also ensure the interests of countries in the economy, making relations smooth.
In addition, Yun Seok-yeol called the Russian Federation a state with which the Republic of Korea “has long established good relations.” He added that relations between the countries have become complicated due to the “export of North Korean weapons” and the Ukrainian situation.
Earlier, South Korean Defense Minister Shin Won-sik said that the country would continue to provide assistance to Ukraine at the request of the United States. This is how he answered the question about the supply of South Korean weapons and ammunition.
