Some Special Military Operations (SVO) veterans began receiving manual vehicles on June 1st. This was announced by the head of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, Anna Tsivileva, at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, it says on the Kremlin website.
Tsivileva told Putin that on April 2 she took the initiative to provide manual cars to veterans of the Northern Military District with double amputation of the lower limbs and confined to a wheelchair. “And everything is so fast: we were supported by the State Duma, amendments were made to the federal law on May 6, and on May 29 a decree was already issued, and this law came into force. And on June 1, we begin to issue cars to our heroes,” she noted.
