Artificial intelligence is in the process of expansion. The ‘boom’ of this type of application has turned into a real competition on the part of the Internet giants, such as Google or Microsoft. A few months ago, the OpenAI company led this race by launching the ChatGPT tool, a system with which the user can start a conversation to find solutions to their big unknowns.
This application was consolidated in record time as the lifeline of numerous students, employees from different sectors and even in the puzzle of those who try to prove how far ChatGPT is capable of reaching. From writing a dissertation on misinformation to projecting what the most appropriate decoration for a room would be like, the application never stops perfecting its knowledge to continue surprising Internet users.
Can you organize the ideal trip?
His ingenious and precise answers go viral like wildfire on social media. This time it was the turn of Alba Jiménez, a ‘tiktoker’ (@albajimfe) who is dedicated to sharing content about plans and trips and who wanted to test this tool. To do this, she asked the algorithm to come up with “a five-day itinerary to Budapest, with attractions and prices in table format per day.” The speed with which she resolved the question left the young woman speechless: “Please, look at this fantasy.”
The artificial intelligence created a table with five rows to distribute the ‘planning’ of each day with their respective tours and costs. Despite the fact that some days they only showed four activities, others, instead, offered a wide range of ideas, including gastronomic options. Museums, parks, tours of different neighborhoods of the city and restaurants, were some of the options that the application offered to the user.
The scheme incorporates from tickets with a fixed cost, calculated in the local currency (Hungarian forint), others with an approximate price and the rest with free cost. A base on which an itinerary can be built according to the expectations of the trip, budget and personal tastes. Best of all is the time ChatGPT spent to complete the table: less than 15 seconds. For this reason, the process can be repeated playing with different variables until reaching an optimal result.
According to Alba, this trick “will change your life.” However, not all of his followers seem to agree with the failures that sometimes slip through. “Prices are out of date,” one user replied. Even so, others applauded this initiative as a quick and simple alternative to guide themselves when organizing a trip route.
