Skull and Bones will be the protagonist of a documentary created by IGN and dedicated to Ubisoft game's turbulent historyavailable starting from February 4th: just a few days before the official debut of the title on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series
Originally announced in 2017, Skull and Bones began life as a spin-off of Assassin's Creed: a project that tries to build an entire experience around navigation and battles between pirates on the open sea, enriching this system with new elements.
However, the development was rather troubledrelease windows have been announced and postponed for literally years, leading up to this February, when Skull and Bones will finally make its debut.
Lots of changes
The documentary announced by IGN will shed light on what happened behind the scenes of this controversial project and what it was like changed profoundly over the years and what its current connotation is.
The video will include interviews with the developers, interesting background stories, revelations about the reasons for the postponements and the genesis of a pirate live service inevitably destined to spark discussion.
