Sio Congress, Canton (Federico II): “Mepolizumab blocks IL-5, great advantage for patients’ quality of life”

“Mepolizumab works by blocking interleukin 5 and lowering the level of eosinophils, making them stable over time. This translates clinically into an improvement in the clinic and in less use of both salvage surgery and systemic steroids. A huge advantage for quality of patients’ lives”.
