This footage was directed by the filmmaker Diego Vincentini and received multiple awards, such as the Audience Award for the best international fiction feature film at the Dallas International Film Festivalin addition to various recognitions in the Venezuelan Film Festival 2023in which it won the categories of best film, best director, best supporting actor, best photography, best editing and best script.

When is the Venezuelan film ‘Simón’ released in Peru?
This film was originally released on September 7 in Venezuela and, almost two months later, will arrive in Peruvian cinemas on Thursday, October 19, 2023. ‘Simon’ was originally born due to a short film of the same name that Vicentini made as part of his thesis to obtain a master’s degree in cinema in Los Angeles Film Academy. Such was the reception that the production had after releasing it in eight countries that he decided to turn it into a feature film that will finally reach Peru.
