In the recent resolution, it is reported that some leaders involved in the process requested and provided evidence for the exercise of their right of defense and contradiction. Nevertheless, some investigated presented the writings extemporaneously or, in other cases, they refrained from presenting defenses, as well as from providing and/or requesting evidence, so the SIC calls them to comply to advance the process.
This resolution, a 93-page document, basically deals with the complaints presented by Acolfutpro, with five more charges, and opens up evidence and testimonies. Between May and July there will be testimonies every day.
In addition, new summons were made for several of those involved in the investigation to give testimony, regarding particular cases in labor and contractual relations between clubs and different players.
It was also resolved to notify Dimayor to certify specific information on different specific transfers, which is why it requests “Copy of the history of (i) registrations and (ii) transfers of players through the COMET information system, including the clubs sports with which he has had an employment relationship and the effective dates of the contracts, for the period between January 2018 and December 2023”.
This is a scenario in which clubs are exposing themselves to severe sanctions such as fines, if responsibilities are found.
