Spike Chunsoft has released new information about the online features of Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island. As previously anticipated, the title will exploit the system Rescue, which will allow us to help players who have lost consciousness during the adventure. Every player can request help three times in each dungeonif saved correctly he will be able to keep all the objects and money he had previously collected.
The player who decides to help someone will be rewarded with Aid Points, which can then be exploited to acquire a series of improvements that will make saving even easier. For those who decide to play offline, the function has been implemented RescueSelfeven if this will not guarantee us rewards.
Another way to have fun with other players will be the Parallel Play. It will be possible load our saves online, thus allowing adventurers from all over the world to continue from where we left off. In this way they will be able to face the same challenge as us, maintaining the conditions of the match we started and therefore making the competition more balanced.
I remind you that Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island will be available in Europe starting from February 27, 2024 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
