Atlus has announced the removal from stores Of Shin Megami Tensei V For Nintendo Switchincluding DLC, in anticipation of the launch of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, an updated and expanded edition of the game which will completely replace the other, adding a complete single player campaign and integrating the DLC into the basic offer.
After thanking users for their support, Atlus explained that Shin Megami Tensei V and related DLC will only be on sale until June 13, 2024, the deadline to purchase them. Atlus also specified the time at which the game will be removed: 11.59pm (at least in Japan).

Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance, the latest chapter in the Shin Megami Tensei series, will be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series official page with the announcementinviting us to keep an eye on the new version of the game.

Consider that the purchased contents will still remain in the users’ accounts, who will be able to re-download them even after they are removed from the stores.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that they are foreseen offers to switch to the Vengeance version dedicated to those who own Shin Megami Tensei V. So anyone who wants to try the new content will have to buy the game again. Considering that the original only came out in 2021, something could have been done about it.
