A pregnancy It usually arrives, on many occasions, unexpectedly. As is known, a mistake in contraceptive methods has its risks and, in these cases, fortunately there are pharmaceutical tests so that when someone misses their period they can clear up doubts from home with a home test.
This is what I end up doing Patricia Rodriguez a few months ago after months of doubts and uncertainty due to not feeling well. This young woman from Seville 19 yearsnow Martina’s mother, could not imagine at all that what was happening to her was that she was pregnant. Having been volunteering in Africa, the doctors he consulted believed he had contracted an infectious disease there.
She was in the summer of 2023 in Uganda, as seen on her social networks, and earlier this year she gave birth to Martina. Now Patricia counts her daily life in the account of TikTok @mamademartina05, where a few weeks ago he uploaded a publication to explain his case in more detail. The sequence of images already exceeds 65,000 views.
“They referred me to infectious diseases”
«I was pregnant and I didn’t know it, he hit me drinking», she puts in the first photo, in which she is seen in the bathrooms of something that appears to be a nightclub taking a selfie with a friend. Patricia continues her story remembering that “I was pregnant and I didn’t know it yet and I went to Africa for a month.”
On that trip, the young woman went on a safari of more than six hours by car during which she admits that she felt very ill and was vomiting. «I still didn’t know I was pregnant and I tried children with illnesses “They could have hit me during my pregnancy,” she says. Upon returning, he remembers that he had “a very strange sensation in my body” so he ended up going to the doctor.
«I was in the emergency room and they referred me to infectious diseases because he was supposed to have a disease from Africa,” says Patricia, showing a photo with her in a wheelchair and with a track on. “After a week my mother decided to give me a test and it actually tested positive after four months,” confirms the Sevillian with an ultrasound in which her baby can be seen perfectly.
For all this, Patricia ends the publication by assuring that «Martina is my little miracle», a story that has captivated many. «The same thing happened to me. “I found out about 18 weeks,” a follower tells her, while the vast majority limit themselves to putting icons with endearing faces delighted with the happy ending of their case.
