The creator of the “She-Hulk” series, Jessica Gao, has confirmed that the new Disney + production, as in Marvel Comics, will be the most lustful in the entire MCU. The also scriptwriter of the show has assured that sex will be fundamental in the story of Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) and that she has tried to push certain limits to break taboos.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Gao talked about how this TV series will portray its lead, the house of ideas’ new superheroine.
The most fanatical will know that Bruce Banner’s cousin has had several partners and that promiscuity is a key element in her personality. Thus, when the creator was asked about this aspect in her adaptation, her answer was more than clear.
“Hundred percent. I have been repeatedly saying that we are a very lusty show,” she noted. “This is a very sex-positive show and we don’t want it to feel like a taboo,” she added.

Likewise, Jessica Gao explained why it is important to portray She-Hulk’s sexuality and not hide it. “This show is supposed to be a complete and realistic portrayal of the life of a single woman in her 30s, and sex is a part of everyone’s life,” she explained.
For the writer of the series, everything boils down to a question of “basic biology”, since “it is a very normal and healthy part of human beings”.
So, with the 14+ rating, Marvel fans can expect a little more than just action and comedy this time around.
“She-Hulk: defender of heroes” will be released this Thursday, August 18 on Disney +.
