The Sharjah Police General Command, represented by the Traffic and Patrols Department, launched the “Summer Without Accidents” campaign, which will continue until the first of next September, as part of the traffic campaigns launched annually by the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the police leadership in the country with the aim of enhancing security and traffic safety on the roads. Sharjah Police stated, The “Summer Without Accidents” campaign aims to educate vehicle drivers and road users about the importance of adhering to traffic instructions and laws related to vehicle safety and performing regular maintenance on them in order to preserve the safety of lives and public property.
Sharjah Police called for the importance of adhering to the traffic law, adhering to the specified speeds, leaving a sufficient safety distance between vehicles, and taking the necessary safety and prevention measures related to vehicle maintenance, especially in the summer season.
