The Valencian Community has suffered the devastating effects of DANA which has left more than two hundred dead and several disappearances in this territory. Spanish society has stepped up to help those affected as much as possible and Sevilla FC also wanted to do its part. First the club sent a truck with warm clothing through the Red Cross and now the Sevilla FC Foundation has announced that it has sent, in collaboration with the NGO SOS Ayuda sin Fronteras, a batch of masks, gel and wellies to Paiporta, one of the municipalities most devastated by the catastrophe.
Sevilla points out that they have sent 125 bottles of hydroalcoholic gel and 20,000 masks to Paiporta. They also highlight that “lThe wellies have been donated by the players of the different Sevilla FC youth teams, summoned for this for several days, under the demand of changing football boots for waterproof ones.
The club also adds in a statement that it has donated a shirt signed by his striker Isaac Romero for the ‘Salvem Valencia’ charity auction.
