Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered were put to comparison from ElAnalistaDeBits to understand which of the two games has the better graphics: undoubtedly a risky question but not an obvious one, considering the values on the field.
In fact, we are talking about two productions capable of expressing the best that technology can offer in the gaming sectoralthough in the case of the Naughty Dog work the comparison is unfair: despite having examined the remaster, the game itself was designed for substantially less powerful hardware than current platforms.
In any case, by way of pure and simple curiosity, the superiority of Hellblade 2 in terms of effectsspecifically shadows and lighting, but the models of The Last of Us Part 2 do not have much to envy to those created by Ninja Theory for the Xbox exclusive.
Considering what the developers at Naughty Dog were able to do on a visual and artistic level, as mentioned using PS4 as referenceit will be really interesting to find out what the studio will be able to show with its next works.
An experience worth trying
As we wrote in the review of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, we are talking about a real point of reference on a graphic levela visually spectacular experience that you should certainly try, even just to get an idea of what the best technology currently offers at the service of video games.
An opinion also reiterated in Digital Foundry’s analysis and which therefore leaves little doubt regarding the quality of the work carried out by Ninja Theory, although on the gameplay and content front the situation is different and it would have been reasonable to expect more.
