Mutual accusations
During the opening of the first water theme, Clara Brugada accused Santiago Taboada of wanting to privatize water, showing a news item in which the candidate declared that there was no other solution.
The Morenista accused Taboada of wanting to take a cut and see the water as loot, since he is taking advantage of what happened with the Benito Juárez mayor's office to promote fear.
For his part, PAN member Santiago Taboada declared that for Morena, water in Mexico City has never been a priority.
The candidate reversed Brugada's accusations and accused her that the real privatization will come from her, selling water with pipes as was seen in the Iztapalapa mayor's office.
