The Colombian player Sebastián Villa will return to Argentine soccer, from which he left after being convicted of gender violence and with a second case underway. After his untimely departure from Boca Juniors, he would now have a second chance in that country.

With that team, Villa managed to play 11 games and score five goals, something that aroused the interest of one of the greats of Bulgarian football, Ludogorets, who qualified for the Champions League. However, the offer did not materialize.
The club that would take Sebastián Villa back to Argentina
“We have had conversations with the representative and the player, and last week we reached a verbal agreement. Next week this should materialize in a formal agreement. If so, the player would be traveling to Argentina,” Vila told Radio Splendid.
Boca sued Villa before Fifa for breach of contract and claimed compensation of five million dollars. However, this entity declared itself “incompetent” and left the case in the hands of the Argentine labor justice system.
“The issue of federative rights is a finished issue, he was free to go to Bulgaria, and with the pass in his possession, he would come to Independiente,” Vila added.
The president of Independiente Rivadavia also referred to Villa’s judicial problem. “He has a sentence of two years and one month, which he will complete next year, and in the meantime he is on parole. Anyone has the right to a seco
nd chance if he made a mistake. We are talking about a person with a firm conviction. “Anyone can make a mistake and has the right to a second chance,” he declared.
What is the second case against Sebastián Villa about?
“Last April, Tamara Doldán, the woman who denounced Villa, reached a financial agreement with the player as compensation, and gave up continuing with the case. Although the process continues, Doldán warned that she would refuse to testify. The prosecution requested to continue the case, but a resolution has not yet been reached,” says the Argentine newspaper.
