In Kazakhstan, the Blue Birds amphibious search and evacuation vehicles were sent to ensure the landing of the Soyuz MS-18 descent vehicle, which will carry cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, actress Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko. This was reported on October 16 by the press service of the Central Military District (CVO).

Medics and equipment for the evacuation of astronauts will be delivered to the landing site of the spacecraft.
About 200 people, 12 helicopters, three aircraft and about 20 pieces of special equipment were involved in ensuring the landing in the Central Military District.
The Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft with a movie crew was launched on October 5. The rendezvous with the ISS took place according to a two-turn scheme.
In orbit, the film crew will shoot a feature film in space. The film, called “Challenge”, will become a joint project of Roscosmos, Channel One and the studio Yellow, Black and White.
On October 14, Roscosmos reported that the film crew had filmed most of the materials on the ISS. The Soyuz MS-18 crew continues active preparations for the upcoming landing, scheduled for October 17.
