With one day left until one of the most anticipated horror movies of the year is finally released, with this we are clearly talking about Scream VI, a continuation of the legendary saga that promises a lot. And now that his screening is just around the corner, some of his ratings have already been revealed by the press.
The place that collects all this information is the page of Rotten Tomatoes, in which he currently has a score of 80%, that makes him instantly referred to as “fresh”. Some users consider it the perfect return of the franchise, others have mentioned that it really isn’t a big deal and it didn’t matter if it came out or not.
Here are some of the most important comments:
Screen Crush: Instead of flouting the rules of other franchises, it might be time for Scream to start breaking some of their own.
Daily Telegraph: A generally applauded franchise is capable of some pretty hilarious death throes.
reverse: Scream 6 ranks near the top of the franchise. It delivers the excitement, violence, and mystery the franchise was built on, all cranked up to 11. But the meta-commentary here is basic at best, and its Ghostface is one of the worst.
bloody disgusting: This slasher sequel lets a ruthless Ghostface loose on the city, cutting an intense and flawless entrance that continues the streak of insightful introspection while ramping up the emotion, the kills, the humor, and the heart to a breathless degree.
The Film Stage: As a return to form for Scream, this is a sigh of relief, despite some key issues, VI has a wacky feel to it and is too much fun to fault.
The PlayList: From the disorienting intensity of a subway car filled with strangers dressed as icons of horror, on a journey marked by darkness, to the terror of a victim being slaughtered in some of the series’ most visceral murders.
Remember that the movie opens next March 9 in theaters.

Editor’s note: I’ve only seen up to the third installment, but because of the comments I’ve seen before, it caught my attention to take a look at it, so I’ll consider going to the movies to see it. Of course, I’m not a big fan of horror, neither in games nor in movies.
