German Chancellor Olaf Scholz must explain the change in course on strikes against targets in Russia, namely his permission to use German weapons against targets in the Russian Federation. Bundestag deputy Sarah Wagenknecht stated this to the Funke media group, reports TASS.
“Whoever brings war to Russia through German weapons will ultimately bring it to Germany,” she said, adding that she feared further escalation that could end in a third world war. She called Scholz a threat to the security of Germany.
On May 31, Scholz allowed the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) to use German weapons transferred to Kyiv for attacks on Russian territory. The ban on the use of weapons was officially lifted due to the successes of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) in the Kharkov direction.
