Waiting for the exam at the University
Almost a month after the last Round in Catalonia, where Toprak Razgatlioglu put on a show with his first successes aboard the BMW, the Superbike will return to the track this weekend in the Netherlands. The third round of the world championship will take place Assen, the true temple of motorcycling. The reigning world champion will try to repeat himself at the University of Two Wheels Alvaro Bautistawinner of the last Race 2 in Spain but above all authentic dominator of the last Dutch edition, when the Ducati rider won the hat-trick by climbing to the top step of the podium in Race 1, Superpole Race and Race 2. Other statements would also allow Bautista not only to pull ahead of Alex Lowes, with whom he shares equal second place in the world championship standings, but also to reduce the gap from his teammate Nicolò Bulega, who enters the Netherlands with a 12-point lead. Obviously, the performance of is also highly anticipated Razgatlioglu, protagonist in Barcelona and looking for what would be his first career success on the Assen track in Superbike. Greatly absent, however, Danilo Petrucci: after suffering fractures to his jaw and right collarbone following an accident during a motocross training session, the Umbrian rider will not take part in the weekend. In his place, the Barni team made Nicholas Spinelli official.
