Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, confirmed on Monday that the regulations will be strictly implemented and there will be no Hajj without a permit.
Prince Saud bin Mishaal, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Central Hajj Committee, in statements, called on the sectors working in Hajj to raise the level of coordination and readiness to receive the guests of God.
The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced the implementation of punishment for violators of Hajj regulations and instructions for those caught without a Hajj permit within the Holy City of Mecca, the central region, the Holy Sites, the Al-Haramain train station in Al-Rusaifah, security control centers, sorting centers, and temporary security control centers, effective from 2 to 20 June.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed the imposition of a fine of (10,000 riyals) on violators of Hajj regulations and instructions against any citizen, resident, or visitor caught within the geographical area who does not have a Hajj permit, and deportation of those residing among them to their country and banning them from entering the Kingdom, according to the periods specified by law.
The Ministry of Interior stressed that a double fine will be imposed on violators if the violation is repeated, stressing the importance of adhering to Hajj regulations and instructions so that the pilgrims of God may enjoy security, safety, comfort and reassurance in performing their rituals.
