His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, stressed that building young human cadres, refining their skills, and providing the ingredients for their success, are essential pillars of Ras Al Khaimah’s developmental approach, to continue the path of prosperity and development, and to create a bright tomorrow based on the knowledge economy.
This came when His Highness received a delegation from Harvard Business School at Harvard University in the United States of America, accompanied by Richard Steele, CEO of Parsec Ventures, and Otsav Seth, General Manager of Forsight Services Ltd. .
His Highness welcomed the delegation and exchanged talks with them about Harvard Business School’s projects and initiatives, and its contributions to developing the knowledge economy and advancing sustainable development.
His Highness said: “We have clear visions, strategies and practical plans aimed at empowering young national competencies, attracting talents and minds capable of innovation and creativity, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth and development, and contributing to building a diversified and flexible national economy that adapts to global changes to promote sustainable development.”
His Highness added: “Our supreme goal is to build people and improve the quality of life of our community members in various fields, and we believe that this will only be achieved through the development of education outputs, in a way that enhances Ras Al Khaimah’s position and its contribution to consolidating the UAE’s presence and competitiveness in all vital sectors.”
For their part, the members of the academic delegation expressed their deep thanks and appreciation to His Highness, the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, for the generous hospitality and warm reception.
