The 74th edition of the Sanremo Festival will begin on February 6th. One of the competing artists is called Marianna Mammone, but everyone knows her by the pseudonym of Big Mama. Her song, entitled “Anger is not enough for you”, tells of her difficult childhood and adolescence, full of bullying, abuse and violence. The rapper, in an interview given to The Corriere della Seraalso told the drama of the tumor he had at 20 years old.

She subjected herself to 12 cycles of chemotherapy and now, fortunately, she is well and also feels very beautiful with short hair.
What she had to endure, plus the illness, helped her become the strong person you are today, explains. And the message she wants to send with her song is for everyone, not just for minorities:
My life changed when I realized that I could transform all these negative energies to feel better. I understood that I am beautiful as I am and that if you love yourself little others will love you little, if you love yourself others see it and treat you accordingly. Think about what you want to do when you grow up, think about how you want to do it and don't think about everything around you.
