This 2025 will be a special year for the Sandberg Palmavela, not only for the consolidation of its offshore version “La Largo”, which will reach its fifth edition with the great incentive of overcoming the registration record, but also for the novelty of the new Cape 31 class in the competition of the first week of May.
“It is great news, not only for the regattas but also for the club, that a brand like Sandberg Estates continues to trust us and redoubled its commitment to our sporting and social events,” says Manu Fraga, general director of Real Club Náutico de Palm.

“In 2024 Sandberg was already a sponsor of the Copa del Rey Mapfre,” said Fraga – and also gave the name to the J/70 class World Cup with the Sandberg J/70 Worlds. In 2025 it will also be the main sponsor of La Palmavela, giving the name to the regatta ”.

This 21st edition, the organizers say, is aimed at again the referent of the beginning of the great regattas in the Mediterranean. The offshore version will tour the Balearic Archipelago with large lengths such as the British Wallycento “Tilakkhana”, patroneted by Pascale Decaux.
