Monterrey, Nuevo León.- Moments before presenting his First Report to Congressthe Governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García, held a private breakfast with most of the local Deputies.
The meeting was held at the Marco Museum, with the assistance of Legislators from the majority caucuses, but without the PAN coordinator, Carlos de la Fuente.
Neither did Jéssica Martínez, from Morena; and Anylú Blessing, from the 4T bench.
At the end of breakfast, around 9:44 am, the State President and the Deputies moved on foot to the legislative chamber.
The Governor Samuel Garcia he was accompanied by the Secretary of Mobility, Hernán Villarreal; José Navarro, Secretary General of the Government; Eduardo Gaona and Hector Garcia.
“Does the Report matter?” Garcia joked with his work team during the walk.
In the local Congress, the Civil Force mounted a surveillance operation in the legislative chamber.
Some 15 elements of the state corporation and metal fences this morning surround the access to the local Congress building, on Zaragoza and Matamoros streets, to restrict entry.
Access to the Legislative Tower is only through Matamoros Street and through the esplanade that connects to the Macroplaza.
Around the streets of the Macroplaza, patrols by elements of the Sedena and the Civil Guard were also observed.
A dozen elements of the Civil Force are located on Zaragoza, in collaboration with a Monterrey Police patrol that placed cones on the edge of the sidewalk, to later use them in a road operation on this street.
At least five other elements were located on the Matamoros sidewalk, monitoring the mobilization.
