According to some sources, Samsung could launch a new rollable device sometime next year.
Foldable devices have been part of our daily lives for several years now, starting from the first Samsung Galaxy Z Flip up to the most recent proposals such as Honor Magic V3, Motorola Razr 50 Ultrathe new one Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold (not currently marketed in Italy) and many others. Within this increasingly “ruthless” and competitive landscape, the future novelty in the smartphone field is undoubtedly represented by rollable devices. According to some recent sources, Samsung is currently working on the creation of a Rollable device due out in 2025thus ensuring a generously sized screen: let’s discover all the details together.
A report on the new device
The new rollable device in question would therefore be a real response from Samsung to the recent Huawei Mate XTthe first double-fold smartphone recently released on the Chinese market.
According to the report of The Electhe rollable device may have a 12.4-inch diagonal displaythus surpassing the size of the Huawei Mate XT. We do not currently know the technical specifications of the new Samsung device, but with a release scheduled for 2025 this could effectively represent the first device in this segment launched on the market all over the world.
The Future of Samsung
The same report as The Elec he would then make a special mention of the Samsung’s foldable device saleswhich especially in the last few months have certainly not been exciting, probably suggesting a temporary market saturation.
Clearly at the moment this is just a rumor, which must necessarily be taken with a pinch of salt while waiting for an official confirmation (or possible denial) from the Korean company. At this point, all we can do is wait for further updates on the matter from Samsung, which we are sure will not be long in coming over the next few months, with a possible presentation of the device during the first months of 2025.
