Among the news for 2024 by Samsungthe Korean company also presented the official controller for the Gaming Hubbuilt under license by Performance Designed Products LLC (PDP) specifically for devices that support the hub in question.
We remind you that the Samsung Gaming Hub is a specific app for Samsung devices which brings together a series of gaming services all together, including Xbox Game Passtherefore the official controller serves as a system for accessing such content directly from the TV without necessarily having to go through dedicated hardware.
The first controller model is blue and is on sale in the USA at price of 49.99 dollars, awaiting information regarding its release also in Italy.
A real controller from Samsung
The controller has a very similar design to that of Xbox Serieswith the typical asymmetrical analog sticks and practically the same layout of the keys, including the function ones which have a shape and position very similar to those of the Microsoft device.
Unlike the latter, however, the controller for the Samsung Gaming Hub is equipped with a rechargeable battery internal, which according to the company should last 40 hours on a charge.
In addition to the classic controls, the central button allows direct access to the Samsung Gaming Hub, which should also speed up the introduction into the gaming platform in question starting directly from turning on the TV.
It will probably not be the only model expected, both as regards the controller and other accessories for the hub in question, considering that Samsung intends to launch the “Designed for Samsung Gaming Hub” line as one of the novelties of 2024, as well to the QLED, Micro LED and OLED displays announced during CES 2024.
