From February 15th, the Caixa Econômica Federal begins paying the salary bonus for the 2024 calendar, referring to the base year 2022. The calendar was approved by the Codefat (Deliberative Council of the Worker Support Fund), in a meeting held in December 2023.
The credit will be made in a staggered manner, according to the month of birth of the workers. Those who have a checking or savings account with Caixa will receive it directly into their account. The other beneficiaries will receive the amounts through digital social savings, automatically opened by Caixa, according to the payment schedule.
The movement of digital social savings is carried out through the application box haswhich allows you to pay bills, make transfers, pay at the machine and make purchases with a virtual debit card.
If it is not possible to open the digital account, withdrawals can be made using the social card and password at self-service terminals, lottery outlets, Caixa Aqui correspondents or at Caixa branches.
What is the Salary Allowance
Established by Law 7,998 of 1990, the salary bonus is equivalent to the value of, at most, 1 minimum wage, to be paid according to the annual calendar established by Codefat to workers who meet the requirements set out in law.
Payment resources come from the FAT (Worker Support Fund).
