There Budget law introduced a maximum monthly increase 110 euros net for those who have a salary higher than 2,000 euros gross. The increase will however be less detected by virtue of the cutting the tax wedge which was extended for another year with an allocation of 10 billion euros. The merging of the first two Irpef brackets, however, leads to a reduction in the levy of 2% on incomes between 15,000 and 28,000 euros per year for a cost for the State of approximately 4.3 billion.
