The Moscow Jazz Festival will host Butman and Khabensky’s performance “Peter and the Wolf”
Odnoklassniki and the Moscow Jazz Festival announced the premiere of the play by Igor Butman and Konstantin Khabensky. A new format for introducing Russians to the world of jazz is announced in a press release obtained by Lenta.ru.
The festival will feature a fabulous performance based on Sergei Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf” in jazz arrangements by Christina Krit.
The performance is scheduled for June 16 at the Zaryadye Concert Hall. Odnoklassniki users also have the opportunity to see exclusive footage from rehearsals and learn stories about how Prokofiev is connected to jazz.
According to representatives of the Moscow Jazz Festival, many great classical composers were interested in jazz, and now Muscovites and guests of the capital can do so.
Odnoklassniki will support the festival from June 11 to 15. At the same time, live broadcasts from the educational program organized jointly with the Russian Society “Knowledge” will be open to access. The headliners of the festival are Dhafer Youssef, Richard Bona, Avishai Cohen, Konstantin Khabensky, Dmitry Malikov, Viktor Dobronravov and the Kinoproektor ensemble.
Earlier it became known that the international cyber festival Positive Hack Days 2 will be held in Moscow. The event will last until May 26 on the territory of the Luzhniki sports complex.
