Residents of Velikiy Guslyar lined up near the GUGU research institute, where a time machine was working. Russian women en masse wished to return to 2005 for the sake of low prices for clothing and other goods, the press service of the city administration reports.
Research institute employees initially refused to let the women into the past for fear that they could change the time continuum and create an alternative reality. Residents of Velikiy Guslyar insisted on their own, threatening scientists to publish information about their secret research.
It is noted that shopping in 2005 took place without incident. The time travelers managed to return back to the present safe and sound and with many profitable goods purchased.
