Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyi said in his evening speech on Sunday, that the Russian army is trying to strengthen its positions in the occupied territories in southern Ukraine. Among other things, the Ukrainian online newspaper Ukrainska Pravda reports on the matter.
“Part of the Russian troops from the eastern positions are being moved south to the Kherson and Zaborizhia regions, but that will not help,” Zelenskyi said.
According to the president, the Ukrainian army is ready to respond to the moves of the occupier. He also emphasized that strategically, Russia has no chance of winning the war.
The Kyiv Independent reports on Sunday’s Russian bombings, for example, on the northern border in the Suny region, where 25 hectares of wheat are said to have been destroyed. In addition, the Russians are said to have attacked, for example, the village of Velyka Komstromka in Zaborižžia.
