Defense Ministry: air defense forces destroyed six shells of the Vilkha MLRS over the Belgorod region
Over the Belgorod region, air defense systems destroyed six rockets from the Vilkha multiple launch rocket system (MLRS). This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense in Telegram.
It is clarified that the shells were shot down at about 21:10 Moscow time by air defense forces on duty.
On the afternoon of June 3, the Russian air defense system shot down a missile from the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) worth several million dollars. The cost of launching one missile from the American Patriot system ranges from three to eight million dollars. In addition, Russian air defense managed to intercept several other Western-style Ukrainian Armed Forces shells – 19 shells from the HIMARS and Alder multiple launch rocket systems. The Ministry of Defense also reported on the destruction of the Neptune anti-ship missile.
