Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov said in his daily telephone press conference that the plan, advanced on Wednesday by the British newspaper Financial Times“contains a large number of compilations and information that were in the public field on the issues that are on the agenda” of negotiation with Ukraine.

“But everything is collected incorrectly and is in fact incorrect. There are correct elements, but in general, this is not true,” the press secretary of the Russian Presidency noted. Peskov stated that “the work continues” and that when there is progress it will be reported.
The British newspaper, which cites three sources involved in the negotiations, noted that the missions of both countries discussed a draft agreement on Monday, which would imply that Ukraine refuses to join NATO and to host foreign military bases in exchange for receiving the protection of countries such as the United States, Turkey or
the United Kingdom.
The adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podolyak, stated the day before on his Twitter account that the draft agreement published by the Financial Times it only represents the Russian demands in the negotiations and “nothing more”.

“The Ukrainian side has its own positions. The only thing we confirm at the moment is (dialogue on) a ceasefire, the withdrawal of Russian troops and security guarantees from a number of countries,” he wrote.
