Kommersant: The Ministry of Transport will fine airlines for errors in tickets
The Russian Ministry of Transport has proposed fining domestic airlines for errors when transmitting ticket data to the information system. This is reported by “Kommersant”.
Suspension of the carrier’s work is also considered as a punishment. Thus, the fine for the first case of violation will be up to 30 thousand rubles for officials and up to 100 thousand rubles for legal entities. A repeated mistake will cost a fine of up to 400 thousand rubles, or there will be an administrative suspension of the carrier’s activities for up to 90 days.
Previously, the Ministry of Health demanded that first aid kits on airplanes be equipped with pneumatic devices for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Airlines, in turn, opposed the purchase of this means of rescuing passengers. According to the draft order of the health department, from September 1, 2024, pneumatic CPR equipment should appear on board Russian aircraft, which automatically pumps air into a person’s lungs if he stops breathing.
